Signing our statement of faith is what gets a contractor onto this page. Not a referral, not a handshake, not some aggregate rating. An actual confession of Jesus as Lord. That's the gate, and it's the same gate for every basement finisher and remodeler listed here in Minneapolis. We reach out to welcome most new businesses with a call and pray for the owner right there on the line, which is a genuine hello and nothing more, not a walkthrough of their last job, not us peering at their permit history, just a warm start to what we hope is a long relationship between them and the homeowners who find them here.
Minneapolis has real coverage in this category. Solid, honestly. Believers running legitimate remodeling operations, finishing basements across the metro, from the closer suburbs out into the ring cities, enough that you're choosing between options rather than crossing your fingers that someone picks up the phone.
Here's what we hand you and what we don't. A list of Christian-owned contractors who put their name on a faith statement. That's it. We don't hand you a verdict on their framing or their drywall. Reviews do that. Written by homeowners who actually lived through the dust and the timeline slippage and the moment the contractor either showed back up or didn't. Read them carefully. A contractor who talks straight about scope before the contract is signed is worth a call. Whether that one becomes your contractor is still yours to decide.

Frequently asked questions
How does a basement contractor get listed on this page?
The owner signs our statement of faith, confessing Jesus as Lord. That is the one requirement. We also reach out to welcome most new businesses with a call and pray for the owner on that call, but that is a hello, not a screening process.
How do I know if a listed contractor does good work?
The reviews are how you judge quality, written by real homeowners who hired them. We don't inspect or grade the work itself. Read what past customers say and ask the contractor direct questions about your project.
Is there enough coverage in Minneapolis to actually have options?
Yes. This is one of the stronger metros in the directory for this category. You should find several Christian-owned basement contractors to compare rather than settling for whoever is available.
Does being listed mean LocateFaith endorses the contractor?
It means the owner signed our statement of faith. We don't vouch for the quality of any contractor's work. The reviews and your own conversations with them are how you make that call.
