Hi, We're Fiona and Stephen, owners of Joy Cleaners & Tailors. Before taking over the business, we were both realtors. Fiona was helping the previous owners sell the store. They had faithfully served the Islip Terrace community for over 35 years and were ready to retire, but after two years, they still hadn't found the right people to continue what they had built. Owning a dry cleaning and tailoring business was never part of our plan. During a season of prayer, we felt God saying, "You take over. I'm going to use you to bless them." To be honest, we didn't immediately say yes. We quietly hoped someone else would step in. Six months later, we became the new owners. Looking back, we can clearly see God's faithfulness. What we thought was simply taking over a business became part of His plan for our lives. Today, every garment reminds us that there's a person and a story behind it. Our goal is simple: to honor God by serving others with honesty, kindness, and quality workmanship.
