Every painter listed here signed our statement of faith before their name went up. Not a courtesy checkbox. An actual confession of Jesus as Lord, which is the one thing we require to be on this page at all.
Houston has real coverage here, enough that you can compare crews, read what previous homeowners actually said, and make a genuine choice rather than just calling whoever has a yard sign on your block. We reach out to welcome most new businesses with a call, and we pray for the owner right there while we have them on the line. A hello, not an audit. What happens on your walls after that is between you and the crew you hire.
We do not grade cut lines or inspect prep work or follow anyone around with a clipboard. That is what the reviews below are for, written by homeowners who watched the job happen from drop cloth to final walkthrough and have opinions about it. A painter who shows up on time, protects your floors without being reminded, and tells you honestly how many gallons the job actually needs is worth something, and honestly, that combination is rarer than it should be. Whether it describes anyone specific on this page, the reviews will tell you faster than we ever could.
Faith is the starting point. The work is the proof. This page gives you a way to look at both at once.

Frequently asked questions
Does signing a statement of faith mean the painter is vetted?
No. Signing our statement of faith means the owner confesses Jesus as Lord. That is the requirement to be listed. We do not inspect work, check licenses, or screen crews. The reviews handle that side of the question.
How do I know which painter to hire?
Start with the reviews. Look for comments about punctuality, communication, and whether the job matched the estimate. Faith gets them on the page. The reviews tell you whether their customers would hire them again.
Do you contact businesses after they join?
We reach out to welcome most new businesses with a call and pray for the owner while we have them on the line. It is a greeting, not a follow-up inspection. Past that first hello, the relationship is between you and the business.
What if a listed painter does poor work?
Leave an honest review. That is the most useful thing you can do. We do not adjudicate disputes or remove listings based on quality complaints, but reviews stay visible and future customers read them.
Is the list complete for Houston?
Coverage is solid and growing. More owners join as they find the directory. If you know a Christian-owned painting business that belongs here, they can apply through our listing process.
