Not sure where to start. Being a third time client of Emily, I am definitely biased 😅 Not only is Emily extremely skilled in providing preventative prenatal care, knowledge on natural lifestyle management, but she also has a way of becoming a lifelong friend and roots herself in your soul forever. Clinically speaking, I have had 3 low risk pregnancies and successful deliveries with Emily. My first 2 home birth did have some potentially serious complications at birth that Emily was able to navigate with ease and assurance to me. My first homebirth - the baby had an umbilical cord that was only 1 ft long. After baby was born, we saw baby's cord had actually snapped upon birth and was already 'cut'. By Gods grace it was perfectly snapped in the middle and baby was ok. However, this caused hemorrhaging in me which Emily addressed swiftly and monitored over the following hrs to ensure my health and safety. Second birth, baby had shoulder dystocia which needed Emilys to help free baby from my pubic and tail bone. This caused excruciating pressure at the time which brought me fear. Her quick action provided immediate relief and reassurance and allowed baby to be born. Finally, my current birth on 10/14 - This birth was nothing short of peaceful and divinely inspired. The labor and birth were picture perfect with no pain or complications. My pregnancy was still considered low risk but I did have reoccurring UTis during pregnancy that caused some liver / gallbladder stress which Emily and I treated and managed naturally. With Emily, expect to be cared for with the upmost of love and knowledge (like family). She will regularly check in on you and genuinely cares about your wellbeing both pregnant and post partum. She will be respectful of your wishes and empower you to have the birth you desire.
