As the owner of Bookish Beans, I created this online coffee shop because I believe there is nothing quite like the combination of a good book and a perfect cup of coffee. Every morning, as I sit down for my devotionals on the Bible app, that cup of coffee is an enjoyable part of my morning as well. I realized that so many others, whether reading the Bible, a daily devotional, a classic or a new release, share this love for pairing their reading time with a great brew. Because I also own a publishing company, I wanted to offer something special: freshly roasted specialty coffee, roasted upon order and delivered right to your door, to truly enrich your reading experience. My goal is to bring that ultimate freshness to everyone, from fellow Christians to any coffee lover who appreciates a high quality cup of coffee. I’m also proud to share that for every pound of coffee sold, we donate one dollar to a Christian children’s literacy program, helping to share the joy of reading with the next generation. Bookish Bean coffee is as fresh and flavorful as it gets! I recently tried the Italian Roast with my pour over coffee flask and immediately I noticed foam while the grind was brewing! I had to google why I was seeing foam and it stated it’s because the coffee was recently pressed and packaged within the last two to three days! Now that’s some fresh coffee!
