DMD Tae Kwon Do

We have been taking our boys to DMD (Disciples Making Disciples Tae Kwon Do) for over five years, and the name truly says it all. During that time, we have watched our boys grow not only in martial arts but also spiritually and as young men. We are incredibly blessed to have Mrs. Ginny and her family in our lives. They genuinely care about the kids and the families they serve. DMD is so much more than just a business it’s a community, a family, and a place where kids are encouraged to become better martial artist and better people. We are truly grateful for everything Mrs. Ginny and the DMD family have done for our boys over the years. We couldn’t recommend DMD enough!

Our family has been part of DMD Tae Kwon Do for six years, and we truly could not be happier with our experience. Over the years, the Tyler family has become more than instructors and mentors to us—they have become family. What makes DMD so special is the community that has formed around it. The families have become an extension of our spiritual family, and it has been such a blessing to watch our children grow not only physically through Tae Kwon Do, but also mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The friendships and bonds these kids have developed are truly special. They encourage one another, show up for each other, and genuinely celebrate each other’s growth and accomplishments. There is a sense of unity and love here that is difficult to put into words. We are incredibly grateful for the Tyler family, the DMD community, and the positive influence they have had on our daughter and our family. We are excited to see what else God has in store for DMD Tae Kwon Do and everyone who is blessed to be a part of it!

I cannot recommend Mrs. Tyler and DMD Tae Kwon Do highly enough!! Mrs. Tyler’s investment in her students goes far beyond her vast knowledge of the martial arts. She invests in her students’ mental and emotional strength as well. Insecurity and lack of courage have been very real for me over the years. The Lord has used Mrs. Tyler’s patience and encouragement in the martial arts and God’s Word to help me overcome these challenges with strength. Not just physical knowledge and strength, but mental, emotional, and spiritual through growth in Christ as well. To Him be the praise and glory!

My son started Tae Kwon Do at DMD almost 3 years ago, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! He has learned so much and has grown in his confidence and responsibility. I always recommend DMD to people when they mention trying any type of martial arts.

We found Ms. Ginny only by the Grace of God. My son was born with speech and cognitive disabilities, and we have struggled to find sports and activities for him that would work with him or that he loved. Until one day we happened upon the DMD advertisement on the back of a car. I enrolled him in May and he has flourished. It has been absolutely amazing to see his confidence build, his passion for something pushing him to be better and learn more, and his love for God all supported in one place. He loves going to Tae Kwon Do every week, he strives to learn, he wants to be there. And I cant thank Ginny and her family enough for their kindness, compassion, patience, and hearts for Christ. My son loves the stances, the moves, and the Mat time and Bible reading at the end of class. After watching my son flourish, I decided to see what its all about, and joined the adult self defense class in July. And now I know why he gets so excited for class. I love learning, I love the fellowship with Ms. Ginny, and her pushing me. She has given me a confidence I havent had in many years. Ginny Tyler and her family are truly an answer to our family's prayers. You won't find better classes around here. DMD Tae Kwon Do not only educates in martial arts, but in Biblical principles, and love.

I have 2 children at DMD, and I feel confident that they can defend themselves if necessary. Ginny is a wonderful teacher, so patient, gentle and kind to her students. She genuinely loves her students and has a heart for ministry. Each lesson ends with Mat Time to have a devotion and give students an opportunity to learn more about Jesus. Students are encouraged to independently learn more about the Bible as well. I highly recommend DMD Taekwondo!

We were looking for a martial arts school that focused on more than just learning how to fight or defend yourself. We wanted a place that would help our 7-year-old son build confidence, discipline, respect, and character while being surrounded by positive Christian values. We are so thankful we found DMD Taekwondo. Miss Jeannie is incredibly patient, kind, wise, and wonderful with the kids. She knows how to teach discipline while still making the children feel encouraged, supported, and cared for. One of our favorite things about DMD is that they incorporate Christian values into their classes. At the end of class, the kids have mat time where they learn a lesson based on the Bible, which means a lot to our family. Our son has been here for a year now and absolutely loves it. We originally came because we wanted him to learn self-defense and become more confident, but we’ve found so much more than that. We’re very grateful for Miss Jeannie and the positive influence DMD Taekwondo has had on him.

My 7-year-old son has been a student at DMD Taekwondo for about a year now, and he absolutely loves it! When we were looking for a martial arts program, one of our biggest goals was to find a place where he could build confidence, learn discipline, and develop real self-defense skills. While researching different martial arts organizations, DMD really stood out to us because of something very unique: they incorporate Christian values into their classes. As a parent, I love that my son is able to learn Taekwondo and self-defense while also growing in his faith. At the end of class, they spend the last few minutes together on the mat learning a lesson based on the Bible. For our family, being able to have both of those things in one place has been such a blessing. Over the past year, we have seen him grow in confidence, discipline, and excitement for Taekwondo.
