When it comes to mechanical knowledge Kyle and his team are geniuses. His knowledge stretches across all makes and models of modern day vehicles to hotrods, muscle cards and antiques. They don't just take pride in keeping maintenance up to date on your vehicle they also do a top to bottom full inspection free of charge to make sure of any discrepancies are addressed so you can fix them as needed. They also clean your windows. Kyle is the most honest mechanic I've dealt with, he gives you recommendations on things that may need fixed in the future but aren't necessary at the time instead of constantly bothering you trying to get you to spend more money like other mechanic shops around the area. Great Job Kyle and your team. I'll be scheduling for my truck oil change here shortly.

Have used Gearhead for both regular maintenance and repairs and have had nothing but a positive experience! Excellent communication and customer service. Truly, if you need any type of work done this is the place to go. They are honest about what you actually need which is super hard to find these days! 10/10.
Emily, thank you so much! Reviews like yours genuinely mean the world to us. We know finding an auto repair shop you can trust isn’t always easy, and that’s exactly why we work so hard to do things differently. You should never have to wonder whether a repair is actually necessary or feel left in the dark about what’s happening with your vehicle. We’re grateful you’ve trusted us with both your routine maintenance and repairs, and even more grateful that we’ve earned your confidence along the way. Thank you for supporting our little shop here in Maize and for being part of the Gearhead Autoworks family! We’ll keep working hard to earn that 10/10 every time we see you! 💚
I've had my car in twice. Once for routine maintenance where I received a computer printout of the diagnostic - just like the dealer gives me. The second was for some work on the car that was needed for long-term upkeep. I was treated respectfully and the work was completed quickly. This will be my go-to shop from now on!
Christine, thank you so much for the kind words! It really means a lot to us that you’ve trusted our team with your car not once, but twice! We know how important it is to have a shop you can count on, and we’re glad we could make both visits comfortable and stress-free. We always want you to feel informed, respected, and confident that your vehicle is in good hands. Hearing that we’ve earned the spot as your go-to shop truly makes our day! We’re grateful to have you as part of the Gearhead Autoworks family here in Maize, and we look forward to taking care of you and your car for many miles to come!

I feel good knowing that when taking my car to Gearhead they will do the job quickly and get it done right. I’m not a very mechanically inclined person, but they explain things in a way that I can understand and helps me to know what’s necessary and what’s not. Kyle and his team care and it truly shows!
