I honestly cannot recommend Emily at Ohio Midwife enough!!! She helped navigate any fears or complications that came up throughout my pregnancy with such care and gave me so much peace. I seriously had 100% trust in her throughout the entire pregnancy and into my labor/delivery. I just gave birth (my FIRST homebirth but 3rd baby) 2 days ago and having her there was such a blessing. As soon as she arrived to my house I felt a wave of relief and confidence even though things were really getting intense as far as my contractions progressing big time. After and during my post partum visits she was so thorough on explaining what and why she was doing things. I seriously love her and HIGHLY recommend her if you are considering hiring a midwife, which you should!

She not only cares for you and your baby like she would your own but she makes you feel like you are the only person she is tending too. She is truly so kind, so compassionate, so thoughtful and knowledgeable. She will make you so sure of yourself and your decisions while also educating you with her vast array of wisdom. While being in the comfort of your own home know that she will hold space for you, keep you safe, assure you and encourage you. To know her is to love her and what an honor it is. Your decision to hire Emily will prove to be one of the best decision you could ever make, you will only ever wish that you had met her sooner 🫶🏻 With every situation that is thrown at her she never falters, she continues on, learns and grows! Something so important in choosing a provider. Emily has been with me with all three of my babies at home as I am hope she will continue to be with more! With each of my babies there was a moment, and moment in which I was so thankful to have been under her care. With my first as I think is normal for everyone with their first, I needed reassurance that everything was happening as it should even though my water was leaking days before I went into labor. With my second I hemorrhaged and she handled so effortlessly. With my third a partial abruption and again she handled with such ease. She is so attentive to all the messages she receives as well, I never had to ask her or request anything from her twice. Her prices are extremely fair and she even has multiple payment options to fit everyone’s needs! Because of her incredible care there is no question as to why her books are filled so quickly!
