I started my counseling sessions with Stacy thinking I simply have anger management issues and poor discipline. She not only helped me work through my specific issues but our sessions together helped me identify underlying issues I was unaware of. Stacy is attentive to my needs and recommended coping mechanisms that are in alignment with my own beliefs as well as values. One tool that I still use today is an accountability checklist. I did not expect my relationships to be more open as a result of practicing an accountability tool. My own vulnerability in sharing my accountability checklists with friends and loved ones had a positive impact. Stacy helped me achieve my goals for counseling and I highly recommend her counseling services.

I had a wonderful experience going through counseling with Stacy. I came into counseling with no boundaries and a constant desire to please others which was ultimately destroying my relationships and hurting my marriage. We confronted negative belief systems that were keeping me stuck, she spoke encouragement for change into my life and listened with empathy. Stacy helped me disentangle myself from my husband and my codependency and put the impetus for change back on him. She helped me develop healthy boundaries, embrace myself more fully and grieve pieces of my history in order to come to peace with them. I didn't really know what to expect when I signed up for the Genesis process, but I knew that I had some areas in my life that needed healing. What I got through Genesis were not only tools to help identify the root of personal challenges, but also means to overcome those areas. Another important part of my Genesis experience was being part of a strong supportive peer group. Stacy helped create a safe space for us to share and speak into each others lives. This deep level of trust and care was so important in understanding that we aren't alone in what we face and that healing comes through relationships with others. I would recommend this process to anyone who is seeking to get out of their own way and go deeper.
